Why is it called Divine Banana Bread?

The Story, Part 3

Divine Banana Bread is placed on hold after an Exhaustive Search

As immigrants, we always found a way to make things. But this time, I needed capital to make the customizations for something to happen and take off. I could not make banana bread at my house because it is an excluded item on the “Do not make at home.” So, I thought hard and long about this banana bread business and decided to put it on hold.

House Management led me to Dibia’s Work

Then in 2021, I had an epiphany after some adventures. In a series of events, I became a project manager of a house renovation. I completed two big tasks before everything came to a standstill.

I felt like a caretaker of the land. I did not know what was causing the delay. So, I began an inquiry into the situation to get things moving. I consulted a shaman who did a house blessing and clearing on the property.

Shortly after the clearing, I learned about a training course on the spirituality of the Q’ero peoples of Andes, Peru. Even though I had a full plate, I said yes when asked to participate.

A shaman and an energy medicine practitioner taught the course. I just floated to the training the same way I got into things that filled my heart. I found my thing.

Start of Sacred Writing, the Early Entries as a Scribner

By the middle of 2021, I began exploring using my body as the pendulum. One night I was having a go at it, and I did not trust the answers. My questions had nothing to do with life-shattering work or a medical breakthrough but with matters of the heart.

After a few tries, I was frustrated and wanted a new way to connect. Finally, I got a burst of energy and began writing. Information was pouring in, and I was trying to keep pace. After my dilemma, other people’s names came up along with their messages. These were the first texts, which I later called Sacred Writing. I wrote sporadically, but by August 2021, I committed to a weekly writing schedule and practice.

If you remember, I started this story by saying how things take time to come to fruition. I realized in late 2021 that this banana bread domain I had registered in 2018 had nothing to do with eating and feeding bellies.

The Divine Banana Bread website is the work of the spirit cook, who has been working on her self-development for years. I realized that banana bread is the food for the soul, spiritual nourishment, and peace. How did I miss it?

Importance of Bananas in Ifá and African Spirituality

The significance of bananas. The banana is a sacred fruit of some of the Orishas in the Yoruba religion. It is a powerful and symbolic fruit. The fruit is a favorite offering to one of the most popular orishas, Ṣàngó, the divinity of thunder, lighting, and vitality.

The Africans enslaved in the new world came with their spirituality. You can say their Gods accompanied them on that treacherous journey and provided them sustenance.

Releasing the Books of Sacred Writing

So, my divine banana bread is similar to the Daily Bread. My Divine Banana Bread nourishes the soul. After being told by ascended spirits to post their messages online, I am delighted to do so.

I am now releasing it to the public and moving away from what ascended being Chadwick Boseman described as work done in isolation. It gives me great pleasure and physical relief to share all the Books of Messages I have completed thus far.

If you are keeping count, the concept was born in 2018 and reached its fruition in 2021. The Spirit has much to say, and they want their messages to come out. Therefore, I am releasing what they said, as spoken, to honor their requests. I publish new entries on Mondays.

It feels so good that I have finally turned my lights on.
