Where it all started?

Humble but Important Beginnings in Nigeria

My name is Azuka, and I was born in the vibrant, sun-kissed country of Nigeria in West Africa. As a child, I loved to play more than anything else, from climbing mango and guava trees in the compound and running around my grandmother’s luscious farm with thick green bushes.

I played with friends, marked up the soil with characters, chased chickens, and listened to stories by old folks. I remember that I told a few stories of my own. As a child, I dreamed of building a helicopter taxi flying as high as 100 feet above the ground and taking people around town for errands. It was something that would be accessible to everyone one day. I was in a world of stories, imagination, and creativity, and I loved it.

Mama Eluno

As a child, I became particularly fond of Mama Eluno, an elderly medicine woman from Nando whom I considered my mother. I loved her to the core. I loved being around her and knew she was powerful with unseen things. But unbeknownst to me, at that age, she is what you would consider a dibia.

She was the head Dibia of her region. Traditional healers that are diviners for people are called dibia. However, Mama Eluno was above that. Her presence calmed and reassured me even though I was not too fond of her brood of cats. I loved and adored her beyond language, and she was very dear to me. She was my early teacher.

Umebe

The second person that was dear to me was Umebe, my grandmother. She was a strong woman with an unbreakable spirit and will. There was nothing she could not conquer. People feared her. She was the chief priestess of her line. She was an inspirational force and nurtured me even hard at times. Though she was tough, I realized she was doing her best.

Ajie

My third teacher is Ajie, my mother. She provides support and a foundation for my spiritual development. Before I knew what to call it, Ajie was the first to hear my dreams, some of which were premonitions, discussing spiritual things, and lessons about life.

When I started Sacred Writing, she was my champion and the only person I read my entries. She provides a safe space to talk about things other people find uncomfortable or cannot handle. I love my mother.

My Father

My father was my other teacher, whom I met as an adult but in a dream. While he has been gone for a long time, he still speaks. My father was a mystic and came from a line of diviners and healers. We both have an affinity for water and use it to work.

Sacred Writing

After years of self-development, countless readings, and two training courses, I started Sacred Writing, a weekly spiritual practice taught to me by Spirit. I receive and channel messages from Ascended beings. These spirits are eager to pass their advice to the living.

They encourage us to live a life with joy. For the most part, Sacred Writing has been a personal work. So while I have published some of the messages from Ascended beings haphazardly, this website will feature all I have received thus far.

New Venture

Starting a new venture in this arena can be challenging and scary. Nevertheless, I have gotten approval to start sharing from Spirit, including an ascended ancestor, Akunne Uwechia, and ascended beings — Chadwick Boseman, Anna Nicole Smith, Whitney Houston, Marilyn Monroe, and others.

So, it gives me great pleasure to present all these channeled messages on the Divine Banana Bread. I hope you enjoy reading them and make the most of the advice. Messages are published every Monday. So bookmark the website, and sign up for the newsletter to receive notifications and updates.
